Darkness - A Monologue

The sun they say is immortal
Five billion years and then it is gone!!
Then it shall be darkness
Darkness all around!
No more planets and no more life
So whom do you think is immortal now
I AM DARKNESS
AND IMMORTALITY IS MINE!
Manifested as evil
Manifested as bad
I and evil go hand in hand they say!!
Pessimistic idiots...
Do you know the truth??
Nothing on earth can live without sleep
And not all on earth can sleep without me!!

Shadow they say is the sole company
What is shadow??
Its nothing but me!
None cares for me
None on earth

Life with its tragedies
Does put you off!!
Thats when you go in search of peace!
And when you find it no where
You come to me!

The sole consoler
Silence is my voice
You come for my words
Alone in your room
Its I who console you!

Life they say is the worthiest thing on earth
Hey you human
When do you think
You create this life?

Its I who beautify the magnificent stars!

When towers and buildings soar high into sky
Enlighten and give
A feast to the eye!

White they say is the colour of peace
Black indeed is the colour of me
Its when I rule that peace mostly rules
So its black which should be the colour of peace
For nights are more peaceful
than the hustly bustly day
and hence I swear
That black is peace!!
