My perspective ..... My attitude.... My limits....
To decide on what should happen to you is not in ur hands... But to decide on what to do with has happened IS ALWAYS URS..

Attitude - The mystery power
- 23 years with life
- 18 years as a student which makes it 18 years as a teacher too
- 13 years in friendship
- 23 years as a son n brother
- 3 years as a Brother in Law
In the last five years, I have known a guy who had great dreams and I have provided him all the support I can - financially, morally, encouraging, information and more.. I tried to push him into a level where he will be able to propel himself, I tried four years - in vain. He just didnt get it.. He just didnt get the attitude though I motivated and encouraged and supported him for 4 years... Truth be told, may be I ain't good enough to motivate them or maybe attitude just cant be injected by an external source... I feel the latter is more true...
Attitude - The one intangible and even unfeelable force which can change so much in life... From the most developed nation - USA to one of the least developed countries in Africa, all countries are corrupt. The 2010 mid term elections of USA are the biggest exposure of the atrocities of US politics.. Same is the case with UK, I've been here for a year now and I know that India inherited its corrupt character from here. Same with India... No place is good enough to provide a bed of roses and fairness.. Nor is any country bad enough to deprive people of everything... If you want something, you get it if you have that one intangible force... Attitude.. I'm reminded of Abhishek Bachan's dialogue from GURU - I saluted to those doors which would open for a salute and I kicked those doors which didnt... There is no big magic to get what you want, you just have to go for it and never quit..

THE VOICE OF LIFE
I found a molluscan shell in the beach
And asked it why it was special?
It answered “ Listen to me, I’ll give you my answer”
I did and kept it to my ears
In its silence, I found out patience
In its silence, I found out hope
In its silence I realised trust
I realised faith and belief
In its silence I gained my energy
In its silence I gained my strength
In its silence I gained my confidence
And more in the Creator of all
Atlast I realised that it wasn’t silence that I was listening to
But I was listening to the voice of life.

An Ode to an Unsung Hero
I know a girl who lives among us
Born, brought up and taught just like the most...
Class topper she has been all through her life...
She did her schooling just like us all...
In wonderful schools she enjoyed her childhood...
And came with adolescence, the need to choose a path...
Given the freedom to choose what she wants
Given the fortune to have the scores to choose
She chose a degree she really believed she will enjoy...
Four years went and she enjoyed her college days...
She learned what she loved and thought of learning more...
For some other priorities, she chose not to learn more then
And decided to be a part of the herd
The herd of humans who sell themselves and all their hard work...
But somewhere within these days
Came a time when she discovered her love...
She discovered the joy of seeing a smiling child...
And then she joined this herd and failed to take the beatings...
Somewhere inside her heart, she heard her beating rebel...
She couldn’t be in the herd...
She couldn’t sell herself anymore...
She didn’t want the money
And there came the boldness of her love...
Against the raising outer voices
And against the critical mouths
She chose to unchain herself
And she went for her love...
And that made all the difference between her and the rest...
At 18 she chose what she loved
And again at 23...
When the rest were taking beatings...
She was cherishing the hours with the kids...
In her I found one human
Who took the greatest of journeys...
The journey most of us fail to take...
The journey deep within...
To hear to the inner voice
To realise that any day could be last...
To choose what we love and have the courage to go for it...
Against the dogmatic and worn out life...
She enjoys every minute now, of work and of rest
Her work gives her good memories
Which she can cherish in her rest...
It is this which I define to be living
It is this which creates the line...
Between those who live as masters and those who live as slaves..
After all, in today’s ‘globalized’ world...
Only two kinds of humans live..
The employers – the masters
The employees – the slaves...

Nice poem on faith and almighty
I refuse to be discouraged,
To be sad, or to cry;
I refuse to be downhearted,
And here's the reason why...
I have a God who's mighty,
Who's sovereign and supreme;
I have a God who loves me,
And I am on His team.
He is all wise and powerful,
Jesus is His name;
Though everything is changeable,
My God remains the same.
My God knows all that's happening;
Beginning to the end,
His presence is my comfort,
He is my dearest friend.
When sickness comes to weaken me,
To bring my head down low,
I call upon my mighty God;
Into His arms I go.
When circumstances threaten
To rob me from my peace;
He draws me close unto His breast,
Where all my strivings cease.
And when my heart melts within me,
And weakness takes control;
He gathers me into His arms,
He soothes my heart and soul.
The great "I AM" is with me,
My life is in His hand,
The "Son of the Lord" is my hope,
It's in His strength I stand.
I refuse to be defeated,
My eyes are on my God;
He has promised to be with me,
As through this life I trod.
I'm looking past all my circumstances,
To Heaven's throne above;
My prayers have reached the heart of God,
I'm resting in His love.
I give God thanks in everything,
My eyes are on His face;
The battle's His, the victory is mine;
He'll help me win the race.
